After recently relocatiing to the North Miami area, we decided to try out the local Chicken Kitchen and see how it stood up to the wonderful 41st ST Miami Beach location. While that is a tough act to folllow, North Miami was just fine and we enjoyed. The place is kept clean and the service was friendly and helping when we needed to know something about a menu item. The line moved fast as one would hope - and the taste was just as we would expect. Chain restaurnts are always tricky to review, so when they get a good rating, I feel it is a winner!

The only reason you'd come here is because the line at the Chipotle down the street is too long. Or maybe you're itching for the curry mustard. Otherwise this place is pretty low rent. The staff seems terrified all the time and they aren't very friendly. The food is decent but the service isn't managed well, so you end up waiting for a long time to get treated like crap when you order. Chipotle lets you add a few more beans or tomatoes without charging you more. So I go back there frequently. Chicken Kitchen doesn't. They nickel and dime you. They need to rethink their business model. And they serve Pepsi. Gross.

First of all, the first thing you notice when you walk into the place is the fact that they don't have the air on, the place is gross and hot. Surprised that food stays good. The guy that made my veggie bowl wasn't wearing gloves which I though was extremely gross and unsanitary(he looked like he'd been sweating from the heat in this place) ...also not sure why this place charges extra for brown rice. I would rather go to chipotle and get way more for my money ,not to mention better quality ingredients, cleanliness, and AIR CONDITIONING. Highly dissatisfied with my visit. The place is going down hill , wouldn't be surprised if they closed their doors anytime soon.

I love the rotisserie chicken here! The side orders of balsamic tomatoes and especially the whole sweet potato are worth going for even if you don't get chicken. The staff has always been attentive and friendly. The prices are reasonable, but if the go higher, I'll get my rotisserie chicken fix at Wal-Mart for the regular price of only $4.98.

the food is so so and the services is slow and very unhappy. The price is decent and the portions are big. They have mostly inside seating and a couple seats outside. The location is very nice and the restaurant is clean. This is definitely not the best chicken kitchen but a good place to go if your sick of everything else out there.

Ahh, Chicken Kitchen, where do I begin? I have always enjoyed the food from this chain and the tasty chop chops from this location never fail to disappoint. At some locations I truly feel different from the masses but in this case I stand fully with the yelp tribe. The servers here are unhappy to the point of near hostility. On my last visit, the two employees making mine and another guests chop chops begin arguing in front of us and other customers. Then when I asked the gentleman assisting me to add skin (extra protein) he did not respond except for an angry glare. Not just my imagination because the person next to me witnessed this and began to laugh. In conclusion, the food here is certainly no less delicious than what is served at other chicken kitchens, but the large chop chops only come with half a pita, and they are always, always served sans smile.

Came to this location twice. First time it was very understaffed, waited in line about 10 mins. Second time is where i say never again; understaffed, seen flies flying around & an older, male manager that didnt let us eat our food because it was 20 mins before closing, mind you no sympathy over my hungry boy. I'll stick to the Miami Beach location; friendly staff, clean, fresh food, & nice decor.

Friend recommended this place, so I went here. Ordered the whole rotisserie chicken and saw them pull it out of the oven right away and already did not like it. The chicken was probably sitting in there all day. I tore off a piece of the skin and it was hard and chewy. I took a bite of the leg and it was completely dried out. I can only imagine what the breast is going to taste like seeing how the dark meat was dry. I tried using their sauces to try to add flavor and moisture to the chicken but it did not help. Neither the garlic, bbq, nor the hot sauce did the trick. Terrible chicken. Do not order.

They need to do something about flies that hang out by the drink machine. It makes the place unpleasant to eat at.

Now Listen - I don't like leaving bad reviews, but sometimes it must be done. I LOVE...yes LOVEEEE....chicken kitchen, but this particular location, makes me want to puke...yes puke. The places recently got an upgrade on the tables but before that they were the most warn down, rough, disgusting tables ever. At least they fixed that (on my last visit they had upgraded the tables but they were still dirty...last visit... literally because I will never go back, but read on to find out why) Now the staff there is never really nice - never really rude either. They are somewhat indifferent to whoever comes in. Mistake number 1 in my opinion. The food has always been solid - at least it hasn't ever gotten me sick. The MAIN reason I give this a 1 star review is the soda machine. On the last visit, as I got soda, the cap fell off and at least 30 dead bugs fell in my cup. YES, there was dead bugs INSIDE THE SODA MACHINE. Those caps hadn't been cleaned in years I bet. That is REGULAR maintenance, you must do. We refused to eat, and just left. I didn't even want my money back...we just left. I have not lost hope for my beloved Chicken Kitchen and since moving down south have visited a couple of them down here. Unfortunately I am sure they are run by different franchise owners, and they decided how to run the restaurant. I won't be the one to call corporate, but I will give a fair warning to my fellow Yelpers!

The food is good.. Nothing to get excited about! But!! JESUS,Mary and Joseph!! The people they hire is so Ghetto!! Every time we go in there, their talking about inappropriate things! They're so loud!! Not recommending this place!

I'd have to concur with Megan M., the service here is generally slow; not to mention the lack of etiquette. The dude's at the counter are pretty militant about working there, so it seems. I've gone to this location several times, and there's no acknowledgement whatsoever -- just rudeness and a what-do-YOU-want attitude. Whenever I want Chicken Kitchen, this place is a last minute resort. Usually, I end up here and not at the Hallandale location. Why do all my friends have to live in North Miami Beach?

I love the salads and chop chops. Their curry mustard is delicious. Prices are decent for the portions. A small/regular chop chop is around $6, but not really that small. The portions are very generous. My only complaint is they charge for every little add on, and service is never with a smile. I'm constantly running into rude people at this particular location. I go to Chicken Grill downtown sometimes- pretty much the same food, but the service is amazing compared to this place. If I'm running errands in the area, I'll usually stop here for lunch because it's healthier and more filling than other places around there. The restaurant is almost always empty. I guess most people do take out. I always do. One improvement that they've added recently are the sauce dispensers. Next to the soda fountain, they've added little cups with lids and their different sauces.

I'll agree with everyone else. I love Chicken Kitchen, but the service here isn't all that great. Nobody is friendly and they are super slow. But at least the food is good and the inside was pretty clean.
